I had a headache on my hands when my car stalled out on the highway. It was clear from the dash indicators that there was a major problem. I wasn’t familiar with garages in that area; I went to Budget Auto Repair simply because they were the closest. As a woman, I tend to dread garages because sometimes the attitudes can be condescending or dismissive. These guys were incredibly thoughtful, direct and kind. The owner went the extra mile with diagnostics and did some research to see if there was a safety recall related to the problem with the vehicle. There was! I learned that Ford would cover the costs providing I would get the car to a Ford dealership. This meant Budget Auto would not receive my business for this recall repair, yet they went out of their way to talk me through next steps and did not charge me for the diagnostics or extensive time on the phone. The owner was knowledgeable and clearly an all-around good person. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to garage!
